Three men were kidnapped from a crew vessel in Nigeria last week, Bourbon, a France-based provider of offshore support vessels to the oil and gas industry confirmed today.
The company has said that the Surfer 1440 crewboat, was boarded off the Nigerian coast in the night of the of Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
The three crew members of Nigerian nationality have been kidnapped.
“An emergency unit based in Nigeria has been immediately activated. Bourbon Interoil Nigeria is in contact with the families, supports and informs them regularly,” Bourbon said in a statement.
