Chevron’s Gorgon LNG project is close to starting up as construction activities at the Barrow Island facilities continue.
The giant project, which includes the construction of a 15.6 million tonne per annum LNG plant, is now more than 90 percent complete.
Chevron said it is on schedule to have Gorgon startup in the third quarter of 2015 and first gas before the end of the year.
