OWET’s annual Ocean Renewable Energy Conference will be co-located this year with HydroVision International event.

HydroVision International attendees will benefit from a deeper look at emerging marine energy industry and its role in the future sustainability of hydro, while OWET conference attendees will have the opportunity to network with over 3.000 hydro professionals from throughout the world, it is stated in PennWell Corporation’s press release.

Ocean Renewable Energy Conference aims to provide a forum to share new ideas and concepts, learn about new research, results, and thinking, and network with industry leaders from utilities, supply chain, investors, government, and academia.

Jason Busch , OWET’s Executive Director, said: “We were delighted when PennWell invited us to co-locate our 10th annual Ocean Renewable Energy Conference with HydroVision International this year. HydroVision International is a very important event for the industry and Oregon economy.”

The event will take place on July 14-17, 2015, at the Oregon Convention Center, Portland, USA.

PennWell owns and produces HydroVision International.

Oregon Wave Energy Trust (OWET) is a nonprofit, public-private partnership that aims to help the development of ocean energy by connecting stakeholders, supporting research and development, and engaging in public outreach and policy work.
