Origin Energy, as operator of the BassGas joint venture, informed that the Yolla-6 production well, had reached total depth of 3,653m MDRT.
The well was drilled using the West Telesto jack up rig, which will move back to complete drilling of the Yolla-5 well. The Yolla-5 and Yolla-6 wells are being drilled as part of Stage 2 of the BassGas Mid Life Enhancement project.
Yolla-6 will be cased and completed before being commissioned for production via the BassGas production facility at Lang Lang, Victoria.
The wells are being drilled from the Yolla Platform which is located in Bass Strait, approximately 140km offshore from Kilcunda, Victoria.
