France’s GTT, maker of LNG containment systems, said that its Mark III Flex technology was selected for a new FSRU to be built by the Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries.
The floating storage and regasification unit is expected to be delivered in 2017, GTT said in a statement, adding that all of the fourteen FSRUs ordered in the world since 2011 are or will be equipped with GTT technologies.
As of March 31st, 2015, GTT’s order book included six FSRUs, of which three were ordered last year. In addition, six FSRUs equipped with GTT technologies were delivered in 2014.
