JBA Consulting, an environmental engineering company, is supporting Tidal Lagoon Power in the development of Swansea Bay tidal lagoon project.
JBA Consulting is supporting the project in the preparation of evidence for the discharge of the environmental Development Consent Order (DCO) and Marine License conditions.
The company is also advising the Chinese Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) on the implementation of the environmental requirements to progress the marine works, JBA Consulting’s press release reads.
CHEC was recently selected as preferred bidder for the £300 mln contract to provide marine works for the Swansea Bay tidal lagoon.
CHEC will be responsible for the construction of the 9.6 km long lagoon wall – including bund wall and coffer dam, as well as sourcing and transporting rock armour and materials to Swansea Bay.
JBA Consulting is an environmental engineering company whose marine and coastal specialists provide services in marine and flood modeling, development of forecasting systems, sediment transport analysis and marine and coastal engineering.
