Sabella is currently performing the deployment operation of its 1 MW D10 tidal turbine in Fromveur Passage, off Ushant Island, France.

The team on-board Combi Lift’s cargo ship Palembang is performing the installation of the turbine.

After the immersion, Sabella will run tests to ensure the deployment process has been conducted properly.

Once the team confirms the immersion procedure was successful, it will begin with the immersion of the jumper and export cable to complete the deployment operation.

Sabella’s D10 tidal turbine will start feeding the electricity to the Ushant island’s grid once the cargo ship leaves the area.
