GTT, the designer of membrane containment systems for the maritime transportation and storage of LNG, said it has received a new order for a floating storage and regasification unit from the Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries.
This new FSRU, addressed to Höegh LNG, will be equipped with Mark III technology and is expected to be delivered in 2018, the company informed in a statement.
GTT added that all of the FSRUs ordered in the world since 2011 are or will be equipped with its technologies. Currently, GTT’s order book includes eight FSRUs.
