Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc., a Houston-based fabricator of offshore drilling and production platforms, has signed a contract with an oil and gas company with operations in Trinidad for the fabrication of a jacket and piles for one of its offshore locations.
According to the company’s press release, the contract was signed through its subsidiary Gulf Island L.L.C.
Gulf Island Fabrication did not reveal the name of the oil and gas company the jacket and piles will be fabricated for nor the value of the contract.
The company did say that revenue backlog and man-hours associated with this project will be reported in announcement of financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
