Ed Davey, former UK Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change has criticized government’s announcement to cut subsidies for renewables.
Following the UK government’s yesterday’s announcement to introduce measures to deal with a projected over-allocation of renewable energy subsidies, Ed Davey has criticized the current government’s policy on his official social media account.
Davey called the over-spending under Levy Control Framework a ‘myth’, and suggested that if the Conservatives continue with ‘this attack on green energy’ the UK energy security could be compromised.
