Cargotec’s unit MacGregor said on Wednesday it has won several orders for its deck machinery packages, including one LNG FSRU.
According to MacGregor, the Pusnes deck machinery packages will be supplied for ships that are going to be built by the Hyundai Group and Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, in South Korea.
Besides the LNG FSRU, the order includes 12 very large crude carriers, 4 Suezmax tankers, 6 LPG carriers, 1 liquefied ethylene gas (LEG) carrier, and 2 long-range 75,000 dwt product tankers.
For each deck machinery package, MacGregor will be responsible for the design, contract management and the supply of all components, the company added.
Equipment deliveries are planned to start in 2016 and will continue into 2017.
