CT Offshore today installed the last inter-array cable on DONG Energy’s Gode Wind 1+2 Offshore Wind Farm in the German part of the North Sea.

“Gode Wind is the largest project to date for CT Offshore and it is a great achievement that our project team and offshore crew have now completed the installation of the 97 inter-array cables. We can all be very satisfied,” said Jens Frederik Hansen , Chairman at CT Offshore.

Cables were buried by the new purpose-built subsea trencher ROV, the CTO 107-1100, which has an operating depth of 100 metres, with an option of up to 1,500 metres.

The Gode Wind 1 and 2 Offshore Wind Farm has a capacity of 582MW, and will provide green energy to approx. 600.000 German households when fully commissioned.
