Flogas Britain, distributor of liquefied natural gas in the UK on Tuesday revealed it plans a multi-million pound investment in LNG distribution fleet.

Rob McCord, Flogas Head of LNG said the investment allows the company to create regional hubs, and with nine tankers on the road, 12 specialist drivers, support, technical, logistics and sale team, and dedicated LNG fleet scheduling, the company has rounded its LNG infrastructure.

The company was awarded first-fill in November last year when National Grid opened its LNG truck loading facility at the Isle of Grain LNG terminal in Kent.

Flogas informed then it will be taking 60 to 100 tons of LNG daily to industrial manufacturing sites across the UK.
