Norway’s Coast Center Base (CCB), part of NorSea Group, is teaming up with a consultancy firm Logiteam AS, through an acquisition of 68% of its shares, as it looks to boost subsea services portfolio.

According to CEO Kurt R. Andreassen, this partnership is planned to deliver cost savings for CCB’s customers and help the company expand its footprint in the subsea maintenance arena.

“The subsea industry, like the oil industry at large, is currently experiencing extreme pressure on costs, and new cost-effective solutions are required for the maintenance of subsea equipment.

“In Logiteam we have found a partner that complements us in several ways. The partnership allows us to provide subsea maintenance services on a large scale along the entire coast to serve our customers on the Norwegian Continental Shelf,” says Andreassen.

In addition, Nils Fr. Fjærvik , CEO of Logiteam, believes that with this strategic partnership, and the new ownership arrangement and close collaboration, the companies will be able to exploit complementary expertise and offer new solutions to the market.
