Novatek makes management changes

Novatek, the operator of the Yamal LNG project set to begin production in 2017 said it has increased the number of company’s management committee members from nine to 12.

Novatek, the operator of the Yamal LNG project set to begin production in 2017 said it has increased the number of company’s management committee members from nine to 12.

New members of the elected to the committee are Viktor N. Belyakov, deputy chairman of the management board for economics and finance, and Oleg V. Karpushin, deputy chairman of the management board – operations director, the company said in a statement.

Igor A. Plesovskikh, deputy chairman of the management board – director for geology, Ilya V. Tafintsev, director for strategic projects, Denis G. Khramov, deputy chairman of the management board, have also been named to the committee.

Novatek added that Iosif L. Levinzon and Sergey V. Protosenya are no longer members of the management committee.
