Adriatic LNG, the operator of the regasification terminal off the Veneto coast, began auctioning the regasification and underground storage service for Italian operators and industrial clients.
According to Adriatic LNG statement issued on Friday, five unloading slots at the LNG terminal from May through August have been put on auction.
Four of the five unloading slots, namely, May 4-7, May 12-15, May 16-19 and June 9-12 have all been allocated the capacity of 145,000 cubic meters of LNG. The remaining slot for August 14-15 has been allocated a capacity of 65,000 cbm.
Deadline for submitting bids has been set to April 19, the auction document reveals.
The auction will be carried out in cooperation with STOGIT, the operator of natural gas storage in Italy, with the results to be revealed on April 20, Adriatic LNG said.
