Italy: OLT Offshore issues regasification tender

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana on Thursday informed that it has started the auction for the regasification and storage bundled service for the year 2016/2017.

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana on Thursday informed that it has started the auction for the regasification and storage bundled service for the year 2016/2017.

According to the company’s statement, OLT Offshore LNG Toscana is auctioning a total of 1 billion cubic meters storage capacity.

The quantities of gas equivalent to the LNG actually delivered will be made available by Stogit, the natural gas storage operator, by the end of the month following the cargo delivery.

The deadline for submitting the bids has been set to April 19.

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana’s FSRU, anchored about 22 km off the coast between Livorno and Pisa, has the maximum regasification capacity of 15 million cubic meters a day and a storage capacity of 137.500 cubic metres of LNG.
