Iceni Vengeance provided the platform for the UK Coastguard to carry out a rescue exercise on 26 May.

The crew transfer vessel is currently supporting operations and maintenance (O&M) at the Gwynt y Mor offshore wind farm.

South Boats IOW delivered Iceni Vengeance to Iceni Marine Services in March last year as the second vessel of class South Cat 23m, after delivering Iceni Venture.

The vessel is the first water-jet propelled version of the 23m design, fitted with Hamilton HM651 water jet units and can maintain higher levels of speed during passage as well as higher transfer capabilities to wind farm boat landings, South Boats said.

Iceni Vengeance can carry 12 technicians alongside three crew members to and from wind farms.
