Oslo-based LNG shipping company, Awilco LNG said it has sold two laid-up carriers to an undisclosed buyer.
The two old LNG tankers are 1984 and 1983 built WilGas and WilEnergy.
Under the deal, the 125,000 cbm vessels are expected to be delivered to the new owner between 15 August and 15 September.
“A 10 % deposit is according to the contract shortly to be paid by the buyer,” Awilco LNG said without revealing more details.
The company also sold its 1983 built LNG carrier WilPower in July last year.
Awilco LNG now owns two 2013 built 156,000 cbm TFDE carriers, namely WilForce and WilPride.
