Klaipedos Nafta’s May LNG terminal revenue up

Klaipedos Nafta, the operator of the first Lithuanian LNG terminal informed that sales revenues from the import facility reached €6 million during May 2016, 11.1 percent up on €5.4 million in the same month in 2015.

Klaipedos Nafta, the operator of the first Lithuanian LNG terminal informed that sales revenues from the import facility reached €6 million during May 2016, 11.1 percent up on €5.4 million in the same month in 2015.

In its monthly report issued on Tuesday, Klaipedos Nafta informed its LNG terminal regasified 1,406 thousand MWH of natural gas and supplied it to Lithuania’s natural gas transmission system.

This is a significant increase compared to the 430 thousand MWh regasified in May 2015.

During five months of 2016, Klaipedos Nafta regasified 7,884 thousand MWh of the natural gas, compared to 2,289 thousand MWh natural gas regasified in May 2015.

The LNG terminal’s revenue for the January-May 2016 period reached €29 million, 7.4 percent up compared to the €27 million during the same period in 2015.
