GasLog mulling bond issuance in Norwegian market

GasLog, the owner, operator and manager of LNG carriers on Monday informed it is considering the issuance of bonds in the Norwegian bond market.

GasLog, the owner, operator and manager of LNG carriers on Monday informed it is considering the issuance of bonds in the Norwegian bond market.

According to its statement, GasLog is contemplating the issuance of five-year unsecured bonds, with the proceeds to be used to partly refinance its existing bonds maturing in June 2018.

DNB Markets, Nordea Markets and SEB have been appointed as joint lead managers in connection with the potential transaction.

The Monaco-based company owns 18 LNG carriers, 11 in operation and seven on order, with four more vessels under its technical management, according to its website.
