C-bed’s floating hotel Wind Ambition has been assigned for a new offshore wind project in the German Baltic Sea.

The company left the wind farm in question unnamed, however, according to the press release, Wind Ambition will assist during installation and commissioning of 70 offshore wind turbines at a wind farm with a total capacity of 350MW, which singles out the Wikinger offshore wind farm, developed by Iberdrola.

The vessel is scheduled to start working at the offshore wind farm in the first quarter of 2017.

During the contract period, C-bed will be using Sassnitz, Germany as the base port for crew change and loading of fresh supplies.
