Venko, a company providing industrial coatings, has been awarded a contract for repair and maintenance of turbines at a project in German waters, using specialist rope access techniques.
The work on the project, which the company left unnamed, commenced in May 2016 and is being supported and managed from Venko’s head office in Hoogeveen, Netherlands.
Andre Hofman , Managing Director, said: “The award of this project compliments and strengthens our ambition to transfer our significant knowledge of offshore industrial coatings to the renewables industry.”
