In today’s spotted, we bring you the image of Stan Pontoon 8916 ICE barge being loaded on Jumbo Maritime’s heavy lift ship Jumbo Kinetic in Rotterdam.
Built by Dutch shipbuilder Damen, two such vessels were delivered on July 6 to Silverburn Shipping Group.
The two 89-meter-long, ice-classed vessels were built at one of Damen’s partner yards in China – Nantong Yahua Shipbuilding.
Damen’s Stan Pontoons 8916 ICE have 1,465m2 of available deck space, with a 15-tonnes-per-square-meter carrying capacity. They have a beam of 16.5 meters.
Back in 2012, Silverburn purchased two another Stan Pontoons from Damen.
