Total gas sales by Japan’s Tokyo Gas remained almost flat during June reaching about 1,112.15 million cubic meters, a rise of only 0.6 percent compared to June 2015.
In the residential sector, volume totaled 194.274 million cubic meters, up 9.9 percent from June 2015, while volumes in the business sector totaled 183.159 million cubic meters, almost equal to that in June 2015 with only a decrease of 0.4 percent in comparison to June 2015.
In its latest monthly report, Tokyo Gas informed that the volume in the industrial sector totaled 556.289 million cubic meters, down 1.2 percent from June 2015.
Volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 178.429 million cubic meters, down 1.8 percent from June 2015.
