The roadmaps were approved at a recent meeting between Gazprom’s deputy chairman Vitaly Markelov and CNPC’s vice president Wang Dongjin, according to a statement by Gazprom.

In addition, the parties discussed cooperation issues with particular attention on the progress of the project for natural gas supplies from Russia to China via the eastern route. It was noted that the construction of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline was running on schedule.
