Connect LNG headquartered in Oslo on Thursday said it has selected two representatives in Jakarta and Melbourne to cover the market in the two regions.
According to the company statement, SER Energy will represent Connect LNG in providing services to island communities in Indonesia.
Covering the Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands as a representative of Connect LNG will be Tom Toth of TT Marine.
In addition, Tom Toth, who has 30 years experience in technical & business development experience and who is a former technical director of Harbour & Marine Engineering, will serve as the technical adviser to Connect LNG.
The Jakarta and Melbourne office adds to the company’s current offices in Oslo, Singapore, Shanghai and the Dominican Republic.
Earlier this year, Connect LNG received a grant from Innovation Norway’s Environmental Technology fund its first full-scale universal transfer system.
According to Connect LNG, UTS is a solution aimed at “decreasing the marine investment cost when constructing an LNG terminal as it eliminates the necessity to build a dedicated jetty to accommodate small-scale LNG vessels”. The UTS connects to the terminal utilising floating flexible pipes for fluid transfer.
