8.2 Consulting today informed that it had carried out due diligence services for Masdar, which is considering an investment in a 1.5GW portfolio of different offshore projects in the European market.
“8.2 Consulting is very glad to have supported Masdar with its expert team during the assessment of the projects,” the company stated on its official website.
Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s company investing in renewable energy projects, already has stakes in two large UK offshore wind farms: London Array and Dudgeon .
In 2013, Masdar said it will further invest in UK renewables, after announcing an MoU with the UK Green Investment Bank (GIB) to study opportunities to jointly develop renewable energy projects in the UK up until 2020.
