Russia’s Novatek extends gas supply deal with NLMK

Russia’s Novatek, operator of the giant Yamal LNG project on Tuesday said it has extended its gas supply deal with steel producer NLMK Group until 2025. Russia’s Novatek, operator of the giant Yamal LNG project on Tuesday said it has extended its gas supply deal with steel producer NLMK Group until 2025.

Novatek agreed last year to supply NLMK with 2.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas per annum for 5 years starting from the beginning of 2016.

The overall supply volume fully covers all of the natural gas supply needs of NLMK’s Russian entities, Novatek said in its statement.

Novatek is Russia’s second largest gas producer after gas giant Gazprom.
