Total gas sales by Japan’s Tokyo Gas reached 1,167.457 million cubic meters during July 2016 dropping 7.1 percent compared to the corresponding month in 2015.
In the residential sector, volume totaled 158.423 million cubic meters, down 6.6 percent from July 2015, while volumes in the business sector totaled 211.908 million cubic meters, declining 2.2 percent compared to July 2015.
In the industrial sector, volume totaled 615.405 million cubic meters, down 8.3 percent from July 2015, according to Tokyo Gas’ monthly report.
Volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 181.722 million cubic meters, down 9.2 percent from July 2015.
