New CEO Takes Helm at Swiber

Swiber Holdings informed that Yeo Chee Neng, the president, chief executive officer and an executive director of the company, has resigned from all the positions held within the company.

To replace Yeo Chee Neng, Swiber has named John F. Swinden as the president, chief executive officer and an executive director of the company effective from September 02, 2016.

John F. Swinden has been with the company since 2011. He has been responsible for the Swiber’s expansion into Latin America, Europe, Africa and the Mediterranean.

In addition, following the company’s applications to be placed under judicial management and interim judicial management, Swiber informed that as of September 01, 2016, the total sum of claims received by the group is approximately US$227 million.
