The three nominees for the first Offshore Energy Best Innovation Award have been announced.

The jury consisting of Mr. Jan Hoegee (Director Maritime and Offshore, TNO), Prof. Dr. Andrei Metrikine (Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, Delft University of Technology), Mr. André Steenhuis ( Vice President Innovations, Allseas), Mr. Eric van der Meer (CEO, Airborne Oil & Gas B.V.), Mr. Allard van Hoeken (Founder Oceans of Energy) concluded that these three impressive submissions should compete for the title winner of the Offshore Energy Best Innovation Award 2016.

The three nominees for the first Offshore Energy Best Innovation Award are:

* Barge Master with Barge Master T40

* INTECSEA and Innospection with FlexIQ

* Visual Working and AtSites with Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAV) inspection reports

The winner will be announced during the Offshore Energy Opening Gala Dinner on Monday 24th of October in Beurs van Berlage.

Other submissions came from Aertssen Kranen NV, Aker Solutions, ALE Heavy Lift, Ampelmann , Atkins Global, Atlas Professionals, ED Projects, eVision, FUGRO, Impact Selector, Keppel Offshore & Marine Technology Centre (KOMTech), Kingspan Wind, Landing String Solutions, Lankhorst Ropes, MMT, OneSubsea, Reflex Marine, Rotech, Scour Prevention Systems Ltd, SeaRoc Group, Teledyne Oil & Gas, Trelleborg Offshore, Voith, Vroon Group B.V. and WITTENSTEIN motion control GmbH.

In addition to the awards ceremony, this black tie gala dinner at the impressive Beurs van Berlage, in the center of Amsterdam will serve a culinary dinner with musical interludes and speeches by dignitaries. Mathijs Bouman , known for his work with RTL Television and the Dutch Financial Newspaper just to name a few, will be the host for the evening.

Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC) is an annual event focused on the complete offshore energy industry, from oil & gas to the wind and marine energy.

The two-day event, to be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 25 & 26 October includes an exhibition where an expected 650+ supply chain companies will showcase their products and services. Next to that, there is an accompanying conference that covers key topics and solutions for the offshore community.
