Ramtech Building Systems said it has completed the 16,800 square foot permanent modular office building for the Cameron LNG project in Hackberry, Louisiana.
The building features individual private offices, clear span office area for multiple cubicles, two large training and conference rooms, and a separate crew room and locker storage area, the company said in a statement.
The design criteria required for the modular building to meet a 170 mph Exposure D wind load, Seismic Category A, and .54 psi Blast Overpressure rating.
The project’s total cost was at US$3.2 million.
Sempra and its partners in the Cameron LNG export project are currently building the first three liquefaction trains with a nameplate capacity of 13.9 million tons per annum (Mtpa) with an additional two trains approved and planned to up the production capacity to 24.92 mtpa.
Sempra expects the first three trains of the LNG export project to achieve commercial operation in 2018, and have the first year of full operations in 2019.
Cameron LNG is a joint venture owned by affiliates of Sempra Energy, Engie, Mitsui & Co. and Japan LNG Investment, a joint venture formed by affiliates of Mitsubishi Corporation and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha.
