Applied LNG completed the commissioning of its new liquefied natural gas plant in Midlothian, Texas with a liquefaction capacity of 86,000 gallons per day and an on-site storage of 300,000 gallons.
Chart Lifecycle managed the engineering process and final commissioning of the plant, Brian Sagheb , VP of operations said.
The facility is located in the heart of the Southwest region – giving the site immediate access to major Texas transportation infrastructure corridors with the ability to provide fuel for high horsepower applications, as well as transportation, mining, rail, marine and other industrial sectors, Applied LNG said in its statement.
Applied LNG owns and operates three LNG liquefaction trains in total. The newly commissioned Midlothian facility in Texas and two at the Needle Mountain LNG plant located near Topock, Arizona.
