Total gas sales by Japan’s Tokyo Gas reached 1,179.850 million cubic meters in September, 5.2 percent up compared to the same month in 2015.
Volumes in the residential sector reached 137.293 million cubic meters, dropping 2.2 percent below September 2015 volumes, Tokyo Gas said in its latest monthly report.
In the business sector volume totaled 236.233 million cubic meters, jumping 13.7 percent from September 2015.
Volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 180.138 million cubic meters, down 3.5 percent from September 2015.
