GIINGL appoints Jean-Marie Dauger as president

The international group of liquefied natural gas importers (GIIGNL) named Jean-Marie Dauger as its president.

The international group of liquefied natural gas importers (GIIGNL) named Jean-Marie Dauger as its president.

Dauger was previously vice president of GIINGL for Europe and served as senior executive VP of Engie until last year, the group informed in its statement.

He also served on the executive board of Engie, in charge of global gas and LNG.

Currently, Dauger serves as the co-chairman of the World Energy Council (WEC), GIINGL said.

The international group of LNG importers includes 78 members in 25 countries, with a joint aim to enhance safety, reliability and efficiency of LNG import activities and the operation of LNG imports terminals.
