FSRU Höegh Grace arrives in Colombia (Video)

Norway-based Höegh LNG said its FSRU Höegh Grace arrived in Cartagena, Colombia on Tuesday, November 1.

The FSRU is now ready to receive the commissioning cargo and to enter the commissioning phase, leading up to the start of commercial operations under the long-term contract with Sociedad Portuaria El Cayao (SPEC) planned for early December 2016, Höegh LNG said in a brief statement on its social media chanels.

The FSRU contract is for twenty years, but includes options for SPEC to reduce the term to five, ten or fifteen years.

The FSRU Höegh Grace has the capacity to transport 170,000-cbm of LNG and has a regasification capacity of 500 mmscf/d.

It has been deployed as an LNG carrier under a contract with Trafigura before arriving in Cartagena on Tuesday.
