A Sennebogen 630 HD duty cycle crane has been supplied to Eberswalde Water and Shipping Authority (WSA) in Germany by sales and service partner Willing.
As a federal agency, the Eberswalde Water and Shipping Authority (WSA) is responsible for the upkeep of the approximately 660km of federal waterways on the Oder and the surrounding waterways.
Positioned on a multi-purpose ferry, the machine will be used for all hoisting and hydraulic engineering activities along the river section under the authority’s responsibility.
More than 80 locks, ship hoists and embankments and more than 270 bridges require regular maintenance and inspection. For this purpose, the WSA maintains extensive machinery, which, since August 2016 has been supplemented with a new Sennebogen 630 HD duty cycle crane.
The 630 HD duty cycle crane, delivered and supported by sales and service partner Gebr Willing GmbH, is driven by a 186 kilowatt diesel engine.
Two crane winches, each with a pulling capacity of 120kN, as well as the reinforced, double-row slewing ring, are designed for the demanding implementation in hydraulic engineering.
The cab can be elevated by 2.7 meters to improve the view of the working area. For operations in hydraulic engineering, the duty cycle crane is equipped with an 18kN grapple stability winch to safely position the grapple during dredging work.
The machine’s hydraulic system is filled with biodegradable oil to meet the high environmental standards set in hydraulic engineering.
