Last week, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier’s Bayard class crew transfer vessel (CTV) fleet received the International Safety Management (ISM) and Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) certification by DNV GL.

The certificate was issued after an auditing process by DNV GL confirming all procedures and operations were compliant with the ISM code enabling the company to meet the future requirements within HSEQ for offshore wind.

At the end of November, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier completed a 5-year class renewal and bottom survey of Bayard 1. The Bayards are Norwegian-built, Danish-flagged vessels classed under the DNV GL High Speed Light Craft code (1A1 HSLC wind farm Service R1).
