CCCC Third Harbour Engineering has won a tender for the construction of a wharf on Cormorant Island, located in the Xiuyu District of Putian City, which will serve the Putian Pinghai Bay Phase II offshore wind project.
The work includes marina basin dredging, excavation, caisson production, installation, installation of ancillary facilities, etc. The contract is valued at CNY 17.6 million (approx. EUR 2.4 million). Duration of the contract is 8 months.
Phase II of Putian Pinghai Bay Offshore Wind Power Farm is located in Putian Pinghai Bay, Xiuyu District, Putian, Fujian Province, some 12km far from the town of Pinghai.
Once built, it will comprise up to 50 offshore wind turbines with a total capacity of around 250MW.
