Kogas November sales jump

South Korea’s Kogas, the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG, reported a 32.5 percent jump in gas sales during November in comparison to the same month last year.

South Korea’s Kogas, the world’s second largest corporate buyer of LNG, reported a 32.5 percent jump in gas sales during November in comparison to the same month last year.

According to the company’s filing to the stock exchange on Thursday, Kogas sold 3.41 million mt of LNG in November.

Sales in the power generation sector jumped 59.5 percent, reaching 1.68 million mt last month from 1.05 million mt during the same month last year.

City gas sales rose 13.9 percent from 1.52 million mt in November 2015 to 1.74 million mt last month.
