Gas Natural Fenosa opens second LNG station in France

Gas Natural Fenosa’s unit, Gas Natural Europe opened an LNG station in Poitiers, France making it the GNF’s second such facility in the country.

Gas Natural Fenosa’s unit, Gas Natural Europe opened an LNG station in Poitiers, France making it the GNF’s second such facility in the country.

The station offers both LNG and compressed natural gas CNG and is the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The first LNG and CNG filling station in France two years ago, in Castets, near Bayonne.

GNF said in its statement that the station has an 80 cubic meter storage tank and is capable of supplying the fuel to lorries, buses, tractors light or utility vehicles.

Over the coming months, the company plans to open three new public stations in Bordeaux, Compiègne (north of Paris) and Dunkirk in order to cover supply at these key points on the French road network.
