Australian LNG player Woodside named Larry Archibald as a non-executive director effective February 1,2017.
Archibald, who brings international experience in the oil and gas exploration joins Woodside as an independent director, the company’s statement reads.
In 2015, Archibald retired from ConocoPhillips, where he spent eight years in senior executive positions including, senior vice president, business development and exploration, and senior vice president, exploration. He had previously spent 29 years at Amoco and BP in various positions including leading global exploration programs.
Currently he is serving as an adviser to exploration and production companies MainSail Energy and Guidestone Energy, and he also provides advisory services to global private equity investment firm Warburg Pincus.
