N-Seatec Secures LARS Order

N-Seatec has received an order for the design and delivery of two Launch and Recovery (LARS) systems. Units are required for launch and recovery of the subsea sensor platforms, the company noted. N-Seatec has received an order for the design and delivery of two Launch and Recovery (LARS) systems.

Units are required for launch and recovery of the subsea sensor platforms, the company noted.

Both units will be equipped with a custom made hydraulic launching platform.

A winch system,with spooler and slipring, with 1000-meter towcable for sensor interfacing will also be build and integrated in each LARS.

Delivery and sea trials are planned for March 2017.

The company did not disclose the value of the contract nor the name of the client.
