Norway-based Techno Dive has signed an agreement taking the responsibility for underwater operations at Aibel Yard Haugesund.
The yard area at Risøy outside Haugesund city is 234,000 square meters in size.
The frame agreement has a duration of over 2 years starting from January 01, 2017, the company informed through social media.
Techno Dive noted that Aibel has an option to extend the agreement by two periods at two years each.
Aibel’s Haugesund yard is involved in almost all of the company’s projects, delivering everything from fabrication and assembly services to parts and standalone products.
The yard also takes on a considerable number of assignments related to overhauling, upgrading and classing of ships and rigs.
