Norwegian supplier of offshore support vessels, Simon Møkster Shipping, has signed a contract with VBMS for Stril Server, which will support the company’s works in the North Sea.
The vessel will be deployed for 5 months, and possibly longer, starting in April. This marks Møkster’s first contract with VBMS.
Stril Server, which was built at Simek in Flekkefjord and delivered in May 2014, is a Multi Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV), designed with possibilities for a very flexible subsea equipment outfit.
In 2015 , the vessel supported Acta Marine’s operations at the Gemini offshore wind farm in the Netherlands.
