SEVI Group has completed the takeover of 100 per cent of the shares in the Norwegian subsea engineering company, Seastate 7.
According to the company, the takeover should expand the competence in SEVI Group to include services that they formerly outsourced, and strengthen the portfolio within the company.
Seastate 7 has since its establishment in 2014 developed several new and specialized products for the maritime industry, including the patented MPD (moon pool door) and various LARS for the aquaculture segment.
“This acquisition will expand our product range in the maritime industry, and the competence which Seastate 7 holds gives SEVI Group the possibility to grow and enter new and interesting market segments,” CEO Severin Gjerde .
