Wave Hub seeks project manager for Pembrokeshire Demonstration Zone

Wave Hub, a company that manages, operates and maintains three offshore deployment sites for demonstrating wave and tidal energy technology in the UK, is currently recruiting a project manager for the Pembrokeshire Demonstration Zone.

Wave Hub, a company which manages, operates and maintains three offshore deployment sites for demonstrating wave and tidal energy technology in the UK, is currently recruiting a project manager for the Pembrokeshire Demonstration Zone.

The new project manager will be responsible for leading on the feasibility phase of the Pembrokeshire Demonstration Zone, managing the overall project budget and the contractors undertaking the Technical Feasibility Study, as well as ensuring this interfaces with the Commercial Viability Study.

As the lead contact for the Pembrokeshire Demonstration Zone, the project manager will also be responsible for ensuring effective stakeholder engagement with a range of interested parties, Wave Hub said.

Deadline for applications is 6 February 2017.

The Pembrokeshire Demonstration Zone is a wave energy site located off the South Pembrokeshire coastline.

The zone comprises a 90km² area of seabed with water depths of approximately 50m and a wave resource of 19 kW/m. It is located between 13-21km offshore and has the potential to support the demonstration of wave arrays with a generating capacity of up to 30MW for each project.
