Yinson, Talisman in talks for Ca Rong Do field FPSO

Malaysia’s Yinson Holdings has entered into exclusive negotiations with Talisman Vietnam for the supply of an FPSO vessel for the Ca Rong Do Field offshore Vietnam. Malaysia’s Yinson Holdings has entered into exclusive negotiations with Talisman Vietnam for the supply of an FPSO vessel for the Ca Rong Do Field offshore Vietnam.

The field is located in Block 07/03 in the Eastern Sea offshore Vietnam.

Yinson said that the final contract award was subject to successful negotiation and finalization of the terms and condition of the contract, the commercial arrangement and approvals of the relevant authorities, which is expected to be completed by April 2017.

Talisman is a subsidiary of the Spanish oil company Repsol, and it is the operator of the Ca Ron DO Field.

The other partners in the field are PetroVietnam, PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), Mubadala Petroleum, and Pan Pacific Petroleum.
