Greatship India Limited (GIL), a subsidiary of Great Eastern Shipping, has sold and delivered its Greatship Disha platform supply vessel to its buyers.
To remind, GIL entered into an agreement at the end of January to sell the vessel to an unknown buyer.
As with the buyer, the financial details were also left undisclosed by the Indian company.
At the time, the company said that the Greatship Disha PSV would be delivered to the buyers in the fourth quarter of the 2017 fiscal year, ending on March 31, 2017.
With the delivery of the Greatship Disha complete, GIL and its subsidiaries now own and operate four PSVs, eight AHTSVs, two MPSSVs, five R-Class Supply Vessels and four jack-up rigs.
The Greatship Disha vessel was built in 1999 by Vard Brattvaag in Norway based on a UT 755 design. The vessek is 67 meters long, 16 meters wide and has a deadweight of 3,100 tonnes. The DNV classified, DP-1 platform supply vessel offers accommodation for 22 people.
